Our ECOMAX Dust Brush will one day become dust itself, made from plants, coconut fibre and rubber wood, this plastic free brush is designed to biodegrade at the end of its long life.
Coconut fibres are great for sweeping; the tough, long fibres will not flick dirt or ball on the ends the way plastic bristles can and are suitable for use around fireplaces as the bristles will not melt.
Use alone or team with our plastic-free Dust Pan.
Key features:
Care of brush:
Ideally hang to store to keep bristles flat. When the bristles become dirty or bent, simply give them a quick bath in some warm, soapy water to clean, revive and refluff your brush and leave laying flat to dry. The unsealed wood is not bothered by a little bit of water however leaving constantly wet will shorten its productive life.
End of life:
Once your dust brush has reached the end of its life, throw it in the compost bin to breakdown naturally the fibres will be eaten by micro-organisms, the timber handle will decompose over time.

Clean our seas and harbours
What can $1 do?
$1 removes 1.2kg of plastic and debris from the ocean Over 160 million tons of plastic is produced each year to create single-use disposable items and packaging. With no established system to close the loop, this has led to over 70 years of accumulation of plastics in landfill (40%) and the environment (32%), with only 10% being recycled. Plastics end up in waterways and oceans, breaking down into ever smaller pieces called micro-plastics, well known for entering the food chain through the water, air and food that we consume. Seabin Smart Tech, similar to a rubbish bin X pool skimmer, removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Seabin Foundation to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.
Provide essential goods
What can $1 do?
We live in a world of plenty and yet millions of people find themselves in need every day. 1 in 8 Australians live below the poverty line, creating a need for everyday items others may take for granted – from toiletries, clothing, mattresses or a toy for a child. More than $2.5 billion of brand-new unsold goods go to waste every year and Good360 passionately works to divert these goods to communities in need. Good360 connects businesses surplus brand-new goods with the most vulnerable in our communities, creating a Circle of Good that reduces both need and waste. Good360 works to connect these new goods into communities across the country, assisting on average, two Australians every minute through our network of nearly 4,000 local charities and disadvantaged schools. Good360 doesn’t just focus on one individual cause, our charity partners work in support of over 35 cause areas including; cost of living, domestic violence, homelessness, indigenous communities and disaster relief. With Good360, everyone benefits; businesses, communities, charities, disadvantaged schools, people in need, our vulnerable and disadvantaged and the environment. Join the Good360 Circle of Good today and help both people and our planet.
Replant our habitat
What can $1 do?
$50 plants enough trees and shrubs to store 1 tonne of carbon dioxide Since European settlement, over 90 million hectares of land across Australia has been cleared, threatening species and the productivity of farmlands. Climate change will only exacerbate the impact with reduced rainfall, increased temperatures, droughts and more frequent extreme weather events. Greening Australia aims to restore 330,000 hectares of native trees across Australia by 2030. Drawing on the expert input of Traditional Owners, scientists and local land managers, we will plant 500 million trees and shrubs to store carbon, create quality habitat for native wildlife, and restore degraded farmland. These 500 million trees and shrubs will absorb over 1.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year by 2030, and reduce atmospheric carbon pollution. This is one of the world’s largest and most ambitious ecological restoration programs. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Greening Australia to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.
